Advertising Sales Account Representative - Chico/Yuba City, California
Mailbox Merchants® is the Northwest’s largest independently owned direct mail advertising company. Our “Shared Mail” programs are well established in 33 markets across the West and currently we are looking to add a new team member to the sales force to be located in our Chico/Yuba City, California market.
Our ideal applicant for this position will be a top sales performer who likes to work independently, but with the support of a solid company behind them. They will have demonstrated proven skills and success in an advertising field. (preferably print, but radio or TV is acceptable ) This is a business to business sale, so you will need to show strong presentation skills and an ability to make good business sense to our clients. There won’t be a time clock so you need to be a self starter with an ability to work without day to day supervision.

- Proven business to business outside sales experience (2+ years)
- Strong prospecting, presentation and selling skills

Job responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sell our shared mail advertising products and other services to current and prospective clients in your assigned territory. Understand and actively use all marketing materials to inform and provide clients with the information and incentives they need to make a favorable buying decision. Be aware of competitive media and take necessary steps to minimize their market share in assigned territory. Perform all administrative duties required to meet our published deadlines and ensure timely distribution of Mailbox Merchants®. Other job duties may be assigned.
Compensation:
$30,000 Base salary, plus commission, and bonus.
Training:
Comprehensive paid training at our Portland, Oregon headquarters
